Rolf Branterol (AXA Winterthur) held a conference about a professional allowance for freelancing in the field of theatre. The following was discussed.

THE NEW NETWORK “PREVENZIONE CULTURA”

Cultural associations have been fighting for many years to obtain improvements in social security for people working in the performing arts in Switzerland.
The situation for most of people working in this sector is precarious.

To improve this situation, the institutions Cassa Pensione Musica e Istruzione, Fondazione Charles Apothéloz (CAST), Fondazione per la prevenzione Film e Audiovisivo (vfa), created “Rete di prevenzione cultura”, a network to promote a special allowance for freelancers, working in the performing arts.

This network has been active since 1st May 2009. www.vorsorge-kultur.ch.
